GENERAL QUESTIONS

HOW CAN I GET A QUOTE?

Simply call us or request a cleaning date if interested in seeing how much it would be to book a cleaning with us. As you provide information about your house and schedule, your quote will dynamically adjust and someone will call or email you back with a proper estimate.

HOW MUCH FOR HOUSE CLEANING NEAR ME?

So Clean Schaumburg's rates are $109.00 per hour for deep cleaning service, this entails a two cleaner crew. We have hourly rates for three cleaners also and flat rates for add on services like garage clean outs, and carpet cleaning services.

DO YOU DO HOME CLEANING WITHOUT CHEMICALS?

So Clean Schaumburg's favorites certain brand name cleaning products such as Method, which are all-natural, chemical-free cleaners.

When extra elbow grease is needed we employ things like pumice sticks for hard stuck on grime in showers and tubs and toilets, but we never use strong-smelling chemicals or catchpenny cleaners like PineSol.

​Your home is guaranteed to smell as wonderful as it looks and feels when we are finished and chemical-free!

ARE CLEANING SUPPLIES INCLUDED IN YOUR PRICE?

Yes, your cleaners bring all of their own supplies, garbage bags, mop buckets, vacuums, and all of their equipment has been prior sanitized to ensure no cross-contamination from one cleaning to the next. There is a small supplies and equipment fee of 6% added to each bill, this helps us to make sure we have the best products on hand for your cleaning.

DO YOU OFFER A MILITARY, FIRST RESPONDERS DISCOUNT?

Yes!

​So Clean Schaumburg honors a 10% military and first responders discount for their honorable services. We ask that an ID be required at the time of service to apply this special discount.

WHAT IS A HOUSE CLEANING ROUTINE?

A house cleaning routine is simply a recurring service where we would come back on either a bi-weekly, or monthly basis to keep up with the cleaning maintenance throughout your home.

This can include making sure all bathrooms are deep cleaned every visit, all countertops and floors dusted, vacuumed, mopped and disinfected, etc., but can also include things like windows and sills, garage spring cleaning and other things like behind the washer/dryer and refrigerator.

​Call us to schedule an initial deep cleaning and we can give you a flat rate for recurring services afterward!

HOW TO ESTIMATE HOUSE CLEANING?

Anything over 1000 sqft would require a 4-hour minimum appointment so that we can cover our 40 point move out cleaning checklist.

Anywhere over 2000 sqft has a 6-hour minimum to go over our move out cleaning checklist. From ceiling fans to baseboards and literally everything in between we clean everything and pay attention to minute details other companies may look over.

DOES SOMEONE HAVE TO VISIT MY HOME FOR AN ESTIMATE?

Absolutely not! We wouldn’t want pushy sales people coming to our house so we would never do that to you. You can get a quote and book your cleaning online. It takes about one minute to fill out some information or call and go over a few things over the phone to get time frame estimate.

WHOLE HOUSE CLEANING COST?

So Clean Schaumburg's rates for whole-house cleanings are $109.00 per hour for deep cleaning service this entails a two cleaner crew. We have hourly rates for three cleaners also and flat rates for add on services like garage clean out, and carpet cleaning services.

WHAT IF I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH MY CLEANING UPON INSPECTION?

We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee that we stand by, literally. We will walk you around after the cleaning and let you do your own white glove inspection. If there was anything missed we address it then and there on the spot.

However, we understand that there may not always be someone at the property when the cleaning has commenced so you do have 24 hours to complete your satisfaction inspection.

SCHEDULING QUESTIONS

CAN I GET SAME DAY BOOKING?

We don’t guarantee same-day bookings.

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME FOR MY CLEANING?

It’s completely up to you, we work with integrity, and bespoke work that has McHenry and Lake County talking, however, should you want to be there the entire time while the cleaning is going on that is absolutely fine too. If you’re not going to be home or there to let us in upon arrival, make sure you let us know how to access your house.

​We work with realtors and often times are given lock-box code or a key under the mat. Just ensure there is a way for us to get in and we will make sure it is locked up when we leave!

WILL MY CLEANERS ARRIVE ON TIME?

Yes. Please allow a 15-30 minute window from your scheduled appointment time due to traffic and weather circumstances. We will be there. In scenarios where your cleaner(s) will be late, you will be contacted to let you know their ETA.

WHEN AM I CHARGED AND WHEN IS MY BILL DUE?

You will be charged after the cleaning and 40 point move out cleaning checklist has been completed. Payment is due day of service and will incur a late charge of $100.00 if not received within 24 hours plus an additional 2% a day or $200 whichever comes first.

ARE THERE LATE CHARGES IF I CANNOT PAY MY BILL IN FULL?

Late charges will incur if bill is not paid in full within 24 hours of receiving invoice. Your invoice will reflect and explain all charges and any discounts if applicable.

WILL I BE CHARGED PROCESSING FEES IF I USE A CREDIT CARD FOR PAYMENT?

Not necessarily. While there is an option the day of service to pay your bill with a credit card using our payment platform, Square, they do charge your card a 3.5% processing fee so instead we have included options on your invoice to avoid those fees but still use your credit card by paying other ways such as:

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN A STANDARD CLEANING?

A standard cleaning for us is an empty apartment, condo, townhome, or house and includes a thorough top to bottom cleaning of the following items:

DOES SO CLEAN SCHAUMBURG HAVE INSURANCE? DO YOU SCREEN EMPLOYEES?

Insured. Absolutely. Bonded, yep. Our cleaners will be required to go through a screening process that includes a police background check, reference checks and in-person interviews as well as a drug screening prior to employment.
